13th KOIWAI Winter Lights Galactic Farm Night

One of the largest illumination events in Tohoku. KOIWAI Winter Lights Galactic Farm Night will be held for the 13th time this year.
The vast Makiba Garden will be decorated with lights. On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, a fireworks display will be held.

Holding period

December 1, 2026 (Tue) – January 17, 2027 (Sun)
*Fireworks dates: December 31 (Thu) 18:30- (approx. 5 minutes), January 1 (Fri) 19:30- (approx. 5 minutes)

16:00-20:00 (last entry 19:00)
*On December 31 (Thu), 16:00-19:00 (last entry 18:00)

●During the event period, Makiba Garden opens at 12:00 (12:00-15:00), and only some facilities will be available.
　Admission is 400 yen for adults (junior high school students and older), 150 yen for children (ages 5 through 6th grade), and 300 yen for pets (dogs).
　Also, please note that you will be asked to leave the park once at 15:00.
●During the event period, the outside-the-park shops & food will also be open.

Please watch your step in the park as it is slippery.
To prevent accidents such as collisions, please refrain from bringing sleds and self-propelled vehicles (tricycles, bicycles, kickboards, kids’ bikes, etc.).
