Golden Week short term part time job available!
Koiwai Farm Makibaen is looking for short-term part-time staff during Golden Week.
Why don’t you come and work with us at Makibaen while being healed by the beautiful scenery?
No experience necessary! This job is to bring a smile and a good time to our customers.
Part-time job period
April 25 (Sat.), 26 (Sun.), 29 (Wed.), May 1 (Fri.)-6 (Wed.), 2026
9 days
office (business, working) hours
8:45 – 17:15 (7.5 hours actual work)
*There will be a total of 1 hour break time, including meal time. Depending on the workplace to which you are assigned, you may be required to take your breaks in separate periods.
(e.g., 30 minutes for meal break, 30 minutes for free break, etc.)
*Please bring your own lunch.
hourly wage
1,050 yen *Overtime allowance: 1,312 yen/hour
Wages are paid by bank transfer to the designated financial institution on the 10th of the following month after the month-end closing.
Payment must be made to an account in the name of the part-time worker. If you do not have an account, please open one by the day you start work once you are notified of employment.
Commuting
Those who drive to work will receive a commuting allowance based on the distance.
However, those who ride in the car of a Koiwai Farm employee are not eligible for this allowance.
Commuter buses are also available during the part-time period. (Morioka Station→Mae-Kunen→Aoyama Town→Takizawa NT→Koiwai Farm Makibaen)
Open Positions
*The number of work days will be adjusted at each work site.
(1) Admission control
Information at the entrance, ticket sales and checking
(2) Restaurant Service
Restaurant customer service, taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables.
(iii) Restaurant kitchen
Serving ingredients, preparing food, washing dishes and griddles
4) Farm Kitchen
Customer service, sales, and simple cooking (soft serve ice cream, etc.) at the store
(5) Shops (Sanroku-kan Koiwai Premium Shop and stores outside the park)
Souvenir display, product set up, bagging
6) Horse Park
Sales assistance for horseback riding experience, customer guidance, operation of feeding events, stable work
7) Archery
Selling arrows and removing arrows from targets
8) Farm Patrol
Operation of experience facilities, customer guidance (explanation of use, etc.)
(9) Events, rentals, photo sales
Operation of park attractions, reception of playground equipment rentals, reception of photo sales
⑩Cleaning of restrooms
Cleaning of restrooms in the park, garbage collection
(11) Parking lot maintenance and landscaping of the park
Guidance of parking lot during busy season, landscape maintenance work in the park
We will ask you what type of work you would like to do when you apply, but we may not be able to meet your request depending on the schedule and number of openings.

*If you do not have a car, a shuttle bus will pick you up at Koiwai Station. Please take the JR Tazawako Line train leaving Morioka Station at 9:58 and arriving at Koiwai Station at 10:11. If you are planning to use the bus, please indicate so in the remarks column of the application form.

If hired, Koiwai Farm and its contractors will use the personal information obtained by the company for communication (mail and e-mail) related to part-time employment and for various procedures with public agencies (tax office, etc.). Personal information will not be provided to third parties.
